Greetings All,
The
Carolina Laminitis Symposium was born without my knowledge when my
horse, Buddy was diagnosed with laminitis in July, 2009;
I quickly learned that this
is a complex, expensive and devastating disease.
I met Dr. Don Walsh, a
veterinarian and founder of the Animal Health Foundation. He was my
rock, totally accessible, and never tired of my questions. The depth
of my gratitude is immeasurable and I wanted repay that kindness.
When I asked Dr.
Walsh to articulate his ultimate dream, he said it was to travel
around the country in a big bus, educating the horse owner about
laminitis.
Although
there is no bus (yet), this is the first presentation dedicated
totally to you and me, the horse owner…people who love our horses
and want only the best for them.
ALL OF THE PROCEEDS FROM THE
CAROLINA LAMINITIS SYMPOSIUM WILL BE DONATED TO THE ANIMAL HEALTH
FOUNDATION TO FUND VITAL RESEARCH!
